Tuesday December 4, 2012 - Prime Minister Raila Odinga has cried foul saying
that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is favouring
areas associated with Jubilee Coalition
voting blocs.
In a statement leaked to
the media on Tuesday but quickly withdrawn after sensing the heat it may cause,
the PM expressed disappointment over poor voter turnout in areas associated with
Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) saying IEBC did not carry out voters
education in those areas.
He said IEBC is favouring
Jubilee Coalition areas and demanded a 15 day extension for areas with a low
turnout.
Jubilee coalition pact is
associated with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, Eldoret North MP William Ruto
and Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi.
